Get ready for a morning filled with sweet treats, creativity, and a little holiday fun. Join Kristen Johnson, owner of Sugar Spruce Baking Co. and author of the cookie cookbook Just Add Milk, for a fun, stress-free Easter cookie decorating workshop hosted at Arome in downtown Redmond.
This thoughtfully designed class is perfect for all skill levels — whether you’ve never touched a piping bag or you’re ready to level up your decorating game. Kristen’s warm, approachable teaching style makes learning feel easy, creative, and genuinely fun.
What’s Included
Each guest will receive their own personal cookie decorating kit, including:
All cookies needed for instruction
Pre-mixed royal icing in curated color palettes
Professional decorating tools
Sugar Spruce Baking Co.’s Classic Sugar Cookie recipe
Frosting recipe + Kristen’s tips & tricks
A guided 1.5–2 hour lesson led by Kristen Johnson
Cookie box to bring your beautiful creations home
You’ll also enjoy complimentary festive treats provided by Sugar Spruce Baking Co. while you decorate.
The Arome bar will be open throughout the event with mimosas, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Important Details
Participants must be 14 years or older
21+ only allowed at the bar high top seating
Space is limited (16 seats available) and workshops fill quickly
If you’re the messy project type, bring an apron!
Cancellation Policy
All cookie workshops are ticketed events and final sale. Refunds or transfers are not permitted. If you’re unable to attend, you may send a friend in your place — just notify Kristen in advance with the attendee’s name.
This payment is non-refundable if something arises on the host’s end that results in cancellation. However, if Sugar Spruce Baking Company must cancel for any reason, the deposit will be fully refunded.
